Our Story

10.5 years ago, my family decided to make the move we had long talked about. My husband (Greg), myself and our two teenagers moved from a city in Ohio to the south! Greg and I had grown up with dogs but we didn't feel it was fair to a dog to live where our home was in the city. Our kids were promised that we would adopt that special furry friend for our new home once we were moved and settled.

Our friends had a going away party for us prior to our move. I was sitting on their back deck, watching the neighbor kids play with this giant Teddy Bear looking dog. After that I was hooked. The more we read about the Goldendoodles, the more convinced we were they were the perfect family dog.

Patience has never been my strong point so I immediately started looking for our new Goldendoodle puppy. The internet was a great resource ( definitely not what it is today though)  but there were so many questions about finding a great breeder, etc. Luckily, we found a small family that bred Goldendoodles for all the right reasons. Of course, we couldn't get just one....we adopted two gorgeous "doodle bears"( Bella & Bailey) into our family and I can't even begin to describe the great times and fun we have with them.

We have since added Bella's daughters, Roxy and Gabby to our family. Both of Bella's girls gave us amazing pups and we retained girls from their litters to be "BellaMoms" to continue the bloodlines that live in guardian homes.

All of our breeding girls and boys live with Guardian Families. Guardian Families are a very important part of our breeding program and they provide the love and attention our breeding parents deserve compared to being in "kennels'. We have no kennels on our property. We are now into the 5th generation of our "BellaMoms" and continue to take pride in the pups we produce!

Update: 3.22.19  We are currently building a 1 story 4000 sq ft home on 24 acresthat literally revolves around our doodles :) We hope to me moved in by July 2019.

Please visit our Facebook page for more pictures and up to date information. We take it very seriously to give you a Goldendoodle that is not just a pet but a part of your family.

What generations do we breed and why?

A goldendoodle started out as a cross between a golden retriever and a standard poodle. however we have taken it even farther with breeding Goldendoodle to Goldendoodle. . These are considered MULTIGENERATIONAL GOLDENDOODLES- Not double doodles.

WHAT WE BREED : Multigenerational Goldendoodle - Any generation past the F2b goldendoodle. Our pups are extremely low shedding and allergy friendly.

We prefer the breeding of Multigenerational Goldendoodles because they are more intelligent, healthier, more human like... They are manageable in size being 50 to 60 lbs and don't have the high activity level seen in the early generations of Goldendoodles. Our Multigenerational Goldendoodles have the least likelihood of stomach and skin allergies. I can give you countless referrals from families that can't imagine life without their BellaDoodle. That is why so many families come back just a year or two after adopting their 1st pup to adopt another! You won't go wrong joining the BellaDoodle family.
